Manchester, July 9 (IANS) Manchester United playmaker Paul Pogba praised the team's forward line and said watching them play makes him enjoy football.

These words coming from Pogba will be music to United fans' ears as the Frenchman has been linked with a move away from Old Trafford in recent times.

Manchester United are now undefeated in 16 matches across competitions and Pogba heaped praise on the reinvigorated forwards, who have been scoring goals for fun since coronavirus stoppage.

Pogba himself has found a new lease of life after his return from injury and his partnership in the middle of the park with Portuguese sensation Bruno Fernandes has garnered plaudits from fans and critics alike.

"From behind I just enjoy it. I'm enjoying just watching Bruno (Fernandes), (Marcus) Rashford, (Anthony) Martial and Mason (Greenwood), who all played the last game, and seeing them score goals. You just keep applauding, it's beautiful? they make me enjoy football every time!" Pogba was quoted as saying by the club's official website manutd.com

"As well though there is the defensive work that people don't talk about -- they do it. The pressing -- they do it? that's what you maybe don't see that much. Football fans who know football see that and that's the difference that we have and it's great to see them at their best.

"I think it's about the mentality -- the attacking and defending that they do every time -- that helps us, it helps the midfielders and the defenders and obviously the talent speaks for itself -- the goals and the action and the football, everything," he added.

Manchester United next face relegation strugglers Aston Villa in their bid to clinch a Champions League spot for next season. They currently stand at the fifth spot on the table, five points behind Leicester City, who have played one game more.
