I am saddened by the unrest and anger all over the world, but having a deep fondness for people of Indian decent, it saddens me deeply when I hear of violence in India. It never ceases to amaze me that we can put people into space, communicate around the world in an instant, yet we cannot get along in a peaceful way, in tolerance. For me, culture is a gift that the OPPOSITE CULTURE can always learn from and appreciate. The food and the handicrafts alone are two treasures the world can celebrate without even using language.I am a white USA male, who cant put too many sentences in Hindi together, but I can at least greet people in many of the worlds tongues. Nothing brings a smile to people than to speak a few words of kind greetings in their own language, ice breakers if you will. Why we contantly have to injure each other over differences, is beyond me. I confess, I listen to all sorts of talk radio, including discussions on UFOs. If we ever discover life outside of our own planet, everyone on earth will stop what they are doing just to view it when it happens, and most of us will be in awe. Yet, we pass each life by each day, on the street, and yet we dont even bat an eye. We fail to smile at one another, out of fear of harm. I sure hope we settle our hateful ways before another being is introduced on this planet.Seeing innocent people die for no good reason by these terrorists, angers me, but it saddens me more. Nothing good can come from terrorists doing stuff like this. In no way does it win points for their side, religion, economic standing, or point of view.....nothing.

I am a Bombayite (born and raised in mumbai). I cannot say how many times I have walked by the Taj or across the CST station. It breaks my heart to see my hometown burning. Thank you Comrade for your wishes.
