Katrina K. 3/17/2023 City: Los Angeles	Hi. My name is Katrina Khan (Kat for short). Im 22 and Im a trans person. I am an Indian born citizen currently in LA seeking asylum for being trans. Ive been here for about two years and I have avoided other South Asians out of fear of being judged for the whole "youre not one of us" thing. I live in transitional housing in Little Armenia, LA. I work at a bar in DTLA. I would like to have friends that understand me or even just to talk to in Hindi or do something. I do miss my cultural heritage and was hoping to find a queer-friendly space for Indians. I need friends, I need a community, a place to belong to. Please let me know if you can help.
