Yupp.TV offers Indian television and movies streaming on the Internet with a choice of 8 different language packages. I subscribe to the Hindi Basic Pack and get around 45 different channels for $9.99 a month. I can output from my laptop by connecting by cable directly to my big screen TV and watch it there. They also offer a software program for $40 a year called PlayOn where the Yupp channels can be picked up on my Sony PS3 by WiFi and watched on the connected TV, as well a many other archived popular English TV programs. I used to pay $130 a month to satellite Direct TV. I miss some of the channels that satellite TV offered, but the live TV and many archived programs on Yupp/PlayOn, as well as streaming Netflix, Amazon and Hulu are much more than I have time to watch.
Hello, Our cable company offered 4 hindi channels (zee,TV asia, Sahara one, sony) for $29 monthly, with roku I got 17 for $44 monthly. Cricket channels are included in the $44, i have all major channels, zee,star plus, colors,etc.
Hi, When choosing an apartment, you have to ask if they allow dish. If they allow make sure that your patio is facing south and nothing is blocking the signal. If the apartment you move into does not have this option try the Roku box, Dish network has a hindi package withthe roku box that is just $44 a month and no contract.
