Artesia/Cerritos is the home of Little India and heart of Indian community. It is a mile strip of Pioneer Blvd Between South St and Artesia Blvd. It is one of the main places for Indian shops and stores of all kind, from food to clothing and Jewellery.

Artesia, is about 10 miles northeast of Downtown Long Beach and about 25 miles from El Segundo. You can use San Gabriel Freeway (I-605) to the Century Freeway((I-105) west which end in El Segundo. You can also use San Diego Freeway (I-405) but it is generally busy and overcrowded.

Cerritos, Artesia and surrounding cities(e.g Lakewood,) have the densest population of Indians. Most of the SouthEast LA County / North West Orange County area have fairly inexpensive apts and condos for rent and are very affordable than the South Bay/ West Los Angeles area.
