The pandemic has been bringing in its own set of challenges especially for the family recently moved in to Irvine. We, as parents, would like to invite kids who are studying in High school, to zoom meeting to share experiences and make new friends. We dont know how long this pandemic would go on and whether the school will reopen fully. These kinds of zoom meetings would be very helpful to those kids who are looking to make new friends especially if they have moved in recently to a new place or looking for opportunity to interact and learn new things during this pandemic. Please forward this message to other parents and families. We can structure these zoom meetings as follows:- Little introduction by each of the kids joining these sessions- some topic for discussion or some fun games- some parent volunteer to share about their life or jobs to all kids- Q&A session- End with some prayerAgain, this can be structured based on mutual discussions and feedback.I just brainstormed and came up with the above idea. Again, I came up with the above to engage our kids in a meaningful way during this pandemic. If you have some better ideas, please do share. Covid is going to change the way we interact and share life with each other.Thank youManojConcerned parent
Hello Mr Manoj nice for sharing your thoughts, I too have a teenager who is in high school, yes as u have explained it was too difficult managing children at home, thats the reason I selected non virtual school options it was good our Riverside county decided to offer both options, every one needs healthy space in the house, also our kids are smart enough to learn anything they come up with it was really frustrating to anyone at that time, now California pretty much open for public please enjoy taking them out in the outdoors, as per my Daughter Zoom meetings were not helping for children especially if your children doesnt have same friends.
