Presidential orders were issued on the report of the Committee of Parliament on official Languages which includes issues relating to preparation of terminology (Hindi glossaries, Hindia translation of codes and procedural literature, imparting training in Hindi to employees propagation of Hindi, language of bills, language to be used in the Supreme Court and High Court etc).

6/13/1998	India rejects G-8 prescriptions saying they are ''coercive and intrusive'' and intend to freeze the nuclear weapon capabilities of New Delhi and Islamabad.
7/7/1855	As many as 30,000, people went to Calcutta alongwith weapons to fight the British army.
