The breadth of Indian community we have in Seattle, I believe we should all mobilize to show our support to the Indian victim who laid her life. I am new to this place but I am eager to show my solidarity to the lady by staging a peaceful protest for her. We all have daughters, sisters, wife and mother. Please do not sit quiet. Do not wait for govt to take action. Please do your part in revolution and force govt to take action... I want to be part of revolution not just for lady but for me , my daughter, my family. Please keep this revolution alive. Please get together......so that you may visit or return with your daughter to a "safer" India..
We are organizing candle light vigil for Damini, at Downtown Bellevue park on Sunday 4:30- 5:30 PM. Please take few moments for peaceful protest and support for Damini who bravely fought for her life for 12 days. Please RSVP for the event at Facebook so that we can arrange for enough candles. http://www.facebook.com/events/211529495650914/ -Rajni.
